Things to do in Cornwall

It’s hard not to fall in love with Cornwall and is the very reason people visit from every corner of the world. Carvynick Holiday Park is nestled in the Cornish countryside and is only situated 6 miles from the coastal town of Newquay. I think it’s safe to say Cornwall has something for everyone. No matter what time of the year Cornwall offers a diverse range of activities and attractions for all.

Popular places to visit include St Michael’s Mount, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Minack Theatre, Tate St Ives, Land’s End, Tintagel Castle, Camel Creek, Flambards, Dairyland and the Eden Project are not-be-missed!

Cornwall has 300+ beaches and are rated amongst the best beaches in the world. If you are planning a walk and looking to dip your toe in turquoise water’s you’ll need to visit Porthcurno beach! Fistral Beach on the other hand is known for surfing. If you love water sports then Cornwall is the perfect place to visit.

Food lovers you’ve come to the right place. The sea’s around Cornwall are amongst the cleanest in Europe so you can be sure the seafood will be unbeatable! Fish served up in a top restaurant, or from a quayside takeaway, may well have been caught that same morning. The world famous Cornish pasty and golden clotted cream will test your will power, not forgetting the temptation of Cornish ales and cider from local breweries and don’t forget to try traditional saffron cake and clotted cream fudge. The likes of Jamie Oliver & Rick Stein are just two highly sought-after chefs who offer fantastic food in Cornwall.

We also have our very own little gem called The Fox’s Revenge Pub serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and everyone’s favourite, a traditional Sunday Roast. Booking in advance is recommended because the food is excellent, and the place comes highly recommended.

Enjoy
